Course Overview

Moe thinks it’s the best course in Kentucky. Nice layout. I believe it may be the most difficult due to extreme greens and green treatments on some holes. It is a very nice course — and a very difficult course. Conditions at this visit were very good which is the norm. I like this course … fast and firm. It rewards those who can hit it straight off the tee, as it should.

You might say we’re the natural choice
for the serous golfer.

As a private club, you have to be a member (or guest) to play Persimmon Ridge Golf Club. And if you are a member, you’re surely a serous golfer, as Persimmon Ridge presents one of the toughest challenges in golf in the area. That’s just fine with our members, too. We have a singular focus here at Persimmon Ridge: golf. We’re not a “country club” per se – no pool or tennis here. We’re totally dedicated to golf.

Persimmon Ridge is an Arthur Hills designed,18-hole championship golf course
crafted from rolling Kentucky landscape.

Located less than 30 minutes from downtown Louisville, we are the home of Kentucky golf and “The Golf Club of Louisville.” Persimmon Ridge is laid out to test players regardless of age or ability with five sets of tees, playing to just over 7,000 yards or bentgrass tees, fairways and greens.
